Vasa Medical Care is a medical clinic that provides care to patients through video/telephone services at their respective locations. It is a virtual/telehealth clinic. Similar to your traditional in office clinic except you don't have to travel to see us, we come to you at the comfort of your home or office. All you need is a good network internet connection, a phone or laptop and the visits can be conducted.
Visits are conducted by board certified and state licensed physician. Appointments are conducted from the comfort, privacy and convenience of your home. Platform is HIPPA compliant. Your privacy is our upmost responsibility to protect. Your medical records are also in compliant with standard regulations. If you are unable to do a video visit, the appointment can be transferred to a phone visit, you get a call from the physician at the time of your appointment.
Vasa Medical Care (VMC) is appropriate in treating primary care, some urgent care, and non-emergency conditions. Primary care involves non-urgent medical concerns such as asthma, blood pressure, type II diabetes, medication refill, preventive/health maintenance, mental health services etc. VMC is not appropriate for medical or mental health emergencies such as shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness, bleeding, severe pain etc. It is also not appropriate for prescription of controlled substance that treat panic attack or severe pain such as ( Hydrocodone, tramadol, T#3, Xanax, Ativan, Adderall, Vyvanse etc).
Currently at VMC, we only accept non-insurance forms of payment via Credit Card or Debit card, FSA/HSA etc. At this time we have no partnership with any major insurance companies.
What are the steps in booking an appointment?
We are partnered with Sesame for a robust Telehealth visit experience. We also use RXNT and Doxy.me to provide care to those who are referred through external sources. If referred through Sesame, please follow the link to Sesame login for your visit. If referred through a non-Sesame source please kindly follow the link you were provided to register and login in through RNXT. Prior to your appointment, fill appropriate intake forms and input your medical history so the treating physician can be reviewed in detail prior to your visit.
